(Note: With the plethora of Friday games this week, I've had to alter the format of the schedule a bit.  Hopefully it isn't too off-putting.  Apologies for the inconsistency.)

As I mentioned last week, I am on vacation this week on Sanibel Island.  My view yesterday looked like this:

As you can imagine, I'm pretty eager to get back to that... so we're gonna keep this short and sweet.  Its a great weekend of college football with the Thanksgiving games, rivalry week, and many folks having a little bit of extra time off.  But if you have to pick just one game to watch in each time slot, here are some recommendations:

THURSDAY

LSU Tigers at Texas A&M Aggies, ESPN 7:30 pm

Some might point to the TCU Horned Frogs taking on the Texas Longhorns, but I have a hard time believing the Horns will be able to stay competitive with the Frogs.  But SEC West powers struggling to salvage the season... for that I will tune in.

FRIDAY

Arkansas Razorbacks @ #17 Missouri Tigers, CBS 2:30 pm

I don't think this one requires any explanation. WOOOO PIG SOOIE! (Ed. Note: I just threw up in my mouth a little)

SATURDAY NOON

#16 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets @ #9 Georgia Bulldogs, SEC Network 12:00 pm

Oh look... another choice that requires no explanation. GOOOO DAWGS!

SATURDAY MIDDAY

#4 Mississippi St. Bulldogs @ #19 Ole Miss Rebels, CBS 3:30 pm

It occurs to me that this list is becoming increasingly SEC-centric.  Oh well! If the other conferences want more recognition maybe they should start playing quality football.

SATURDAY EVENING

#15 Auburn Tigers @ #1 Alabama Crimson Tide, ESPN 7:45 pm

I'll be on the road driving home during this one. But y'all should definitely tune in.  Hell, if you hate yourself you can even listen to a simulcast on SEC Network featuring commentary by Paul Finebaum. Just make sure to get all the razorblades, ropes, and firearms out of the house before the game starts.

SATURDAY LATE

Utah State Aggies @ #23 Boise State Broncos, ESPN2 10:15 pm

Finally! A quality non-SEC game.  I'll probably be between Gainesville and Valdosta and you'll be passed out.... but still.

That's all for this week folks. Until next time...

Happy Thanksgiving and GOOOO DAWGS!!!
