The Georgia Bulldogs will take on the Florida Gators at 3:39 this afternoon. If you're like me you're going to have a hard time filling the hours between now and then. For starters, let's take a look at what's making news this Gameday morning in Bulldog Nation.
Florida vs. Georgia: An absence of belief - Alligator Army
No one outside of Florida's locker room expects the Gators to win this weekend, including Gator fans. Which is not surprising given that the Gators haven't given anyone a lot of reason to believe in them.
Edges: Georgia/Florida a lopsided matchup - The Red and Black : Sports
"Saying Florida’s offense is bad is a lot like saying that Florida fans are becoming a little restless with head coach Will Muschamp." There's really nothing on paper to indicate that this game should be close, much less a Gator victory. But college football games aren't played on paper, except maybe in Boise, but they'll play football on anything up there. All kidding aside, Florida has absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain in this one. If the Bulldogs don't believe they'll get the Sunshine State Saurians' best shot in this one they're sorely mistaken.
Mason’s improvement helps Georgia survive | University of Georgia | Macon.com
Hutson Mason continues to do pretty much exactly what Mark Richt and Mike Bobo have asked him to do: complete passes, don't throw interceptions, and hand the ball to whatever burly beast of a tailback is lined up behind you. That's good enough for me.
Marshall doesn't make trip with Georgia | Georgia Bulldogs blog | Columbus Ledger EnquirerNick Keith Marshall (h/t ugaj17) once again won't be on the field for the Bulldogs this week, and apparently has considered a medical redshirt. It was doubtful that Marshall was going to make a major contribution if he did travel this week, but not having him as even a last option probably means that J.J. Green will once again get shuffled over if absolutely necessary.

Hey he didn't make the trip with Georgia. No one said he didn't make the trip period. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like UGA students and fans are having a lot more fun in Jacksonville and the Golden Isles than they did when I was in school. The late 90's/early aughts was a horrible time to drive back from Jacksonville as a Bulldog fan.
That should keep you busy until the early games kick off in a little over an hour. Until then...
Go 'Dawgs!!!
