We're less than an hour away from the Alabama Crimson Tide taking the field against the Oklahoma Sooners in the Allstate Sugar Bowl from New Orleans (televised on ESPN, with a 100% chance of Herbsleet).
The last time Alabama played in the sugar Bowl after missing a shot at the national title they had some motivation issues.
That being said this Oklahoma squad is not the 2009 Utah Utes. It feels weird to say that, but let me explain. Oklahoma has been horribly inconsistent on offense, and if there's anyone your offense doesn't want to be facing after a long layoff it's Alabama. Combine that with Big Game Bob's legendary record in showcase games and a Sabanbot 3000 which has probably drilled its players about the dangers of what happened in 2009, and you get an Alabama win. MaconDawg's totally unsolicited opinion: Bama 37, Okies 20. Enjoy the game, and . . .
Go 'Dawgs!!!
