Bowl Predictions: Why The Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl Can Go To Heck.

Bowls. There are a ton of them, and one of them is solely responsible for thwarting a matchup between the Georgia Bulldogs and Michigan Wolverines which many of us were hoping to see. That bowl is the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, sponsored by purveyors of crappy, bulk buffalo chicken wings. These are the guys who passed on Nebraska to take Michigan to face Kansas State, and I'm not sure I'll ever forgive them for that.

It's played in Tempe, Arizona, has been around since 2012 (though in fairness it used to be the Insight Bowl), and is run by a bunch of people who clearly set out to ruin your bowl season, Bulldog fans. 7-5 Michigan (-3.5) is the favorite over 7-5 Kansas State.

My sense is that if you gave those 3.5 points at took Kansas State, you've found some money to replace your holiday spending. Fitzgerald Touissant is now not only the best named Wolverine offensive player, but also the most valuable. Unfortunately the offensive line he'll be running behind has struggled at times this season. I just don't think Michigan will be able to put enough points on the board in this one.Kansas State has lost its last five bowl games, and hasn't even covered the spread in any of them. This is finally their year, though.
