I didn't want to write this. Not now. Not in November. Not before even Thanksgiving. I wanted to wait until January 2nd. I wanted to wait for Aaron Murray to leave Georgia triumphant with a win in (likely) the Peach or Gator Bowl. I didn't want to write this before the Tech game. However, with #11 going down with a college career ending ACL injury, the record books are complete. We now know where Aaron stands in our record books, and we can project where he will stand in the SEC record books (ignoring how other QBs' seasons are going).
I compiled similar tables after his sophomore season, after his junior season, and in preparation for his senior season to project where he would likely end up.

Aaron Murray leaves Georgia and the SEC as the most prolific passer in SEC history. No one has thrown for more TDs, yards, or completions. He is the first QB ever in the SEC (and only the third ever in the NCAA after Timmy Chang and Kellen Moore) to throw for three thousand yards in four straight seasons. He leaves as only the second QB in UGA history to lead us to two SEC East titles. He leaves Athens 3-0 against Tech, 3-1 against Florida, 4-0 against Tennessee, 2-2 against Auburn, and 1-3 against South Carolina. He leaves with 52 starts to his name, tied for the most QB starts in school history with David Greene. He leaves with a career record of 35-17 (roughly 66.67%).
He leaves the Classic City as a Damn Good Dawg, and more importantly, a Damn Good Person. We all wish you could have brought us two more wins. We will miss you Aaron. I can't think of any player that has represented our University as well as you. May you have the best of luck in the NFL and all that life may bring you.
