UGA hires MS State Defensive Line coach Chris Wilson

I aint got no time for coaching searches - Daniel Shirey-US PRESSWIRE

Dawg Sports has learned here that Coach Grantham has sought out and hired Mississippi State's Defensive Line Coach Chris WIlson to replace Garner. This was a quick, and somewhat unexpected move. Coach Wilson has worked as Co -Defensive Coordinator at MSU as well as coaching Defensive Ends at Oklahoma. Interestingly, he has a Special Teams background as well. This is breaking news within the last half hour so we will make sure to follow up with as much detail as we can in the days and weeks ahead. My initial take is this hire was already on tap and desired, and the staff wants to get on with work, not messing around with coaching searches. After-all, football season started two days ago.
