Alabama remains firmly entrenched at No. 1, and Georgia leads the SEC East at No. 5, with South Carolina hot on the Bulldogs’ heels as the nation’s seventh-ranked squad. The Gators continue to lurk in the weeds at No. 11, possessing a lone first-place vote, which is more than the ‘Dawgs and the ‘Cocks can claim. It ought to be an interesting autumn.
