Having gone around the conference and the nation picking games against the spread, it's time to turn our attention to the one game about whose outcome we could not care less, namely the National Game of Disinterest. This is a game so inconsequential that we would rather do almost anything else than watch it. For example, I would much rather criticize Kyle's blog poll ballot, think about our 2013 recruiting class, or figure out my travel plans for this year's Goat Roast, than watch this game, especially considering how many other great games are on tap this weekend. However you choose to spend your time, you absolutely should not choose to waste it watching...
Rutgers at South Florida (-8) (Thursday)
Quick: Raise your hand if you can name anyone -- anyone at all -- from either of these teams other than BJ Daniels. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Both the Scarlet Knights and the Bulls are good football teams, and both of them are going to wind up in bowl games. But both of these teams are playing in the increasingly inaccurately named Big East, and both of their bowl games are going to be in December. Do you really care? This Thursday's NFL game between Chicago and Green Bay is a better bet if you're into that sort of thing, or maybe you can take this opportunity to catch up on the games you DVR'd but didn't watch last weekend. Just don't pretend we didn't warn you if you watch this game and end up questioning whether you really like college football all that much anyway.
