Don't Bet on It!: National Game of Disinterest (Week 1)

With less than 10 hours until the kickoff of the 2012 college football season, we have already picked all of the SEC games and all of the national games of interest against the spread. For one reason or another, we care about the outcome of each of these games. If you're like Kyle and Kit, maybe you're hoping to see a very small meteor strike the center of the field during the post-game handshake. Maybe you're excited to see two top 25 teams playing on a Friday night. Or maybe there just isn't anything else on TV this Sunday afternoon. But some football games are so meaningless and inconsequential that it's impossible to muster even a modicum of enthusiasm for them. Every week we pick one such game so that you can pull yourself away from the TV for a couple of hours to mow the lawn or talk to your girlfriend or just pick up more beer. That game is the National Game of Disinterest, and this week that game is...

Whom are we kidding? We're all watching ALL. THE. FOOTBALL.

We haven't seen live college football in 234 days. Be honest: you have been so hard up that you've been watching NFL preseason football. Not even professional football fans watch that stuff. But here we are. We made it. It's footballmas. We get a real SEC game tonight, and we kickoff between the Hedges in less than 48 hours. It's great to be alive, and, as always, it's great to be a Georgia Bulldog.

Go Dawgs!
