Don’t get me wrong; I feel a lot better after yesterday’s game between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide than I did after the last such contest, but, even so, frankly, I’m drained, and so is the rest of the Dawg Sports staff after a very intense week.
Accordingly, out of recognition of everyone’s hard work and yesterday’s emotionally exhausting outcome, I have instructed the staff to stand down for the day. We’ll have our usual relevant features later in the week, and we’d ask everyone to come back here for tonight’s BCS selection show, which airs on ESPN at 8:30 p.m. Eastern, to receive official confirmation of the Bulldogs’ bowl destination.
