Your Week 11 College Football TV Schedule

There are a handful of choice matchups, but I wouldn't exactly characterize this as a great weekend for college football.

The weekend gets off to a roaring start on Thursday night with ACCtion as the Florida St. Seminoles take on the Virginia Tech Hokies . Beyond that, pickings on Thursday and Friday are a bit slim.

In the noon hour on Saturday, however, we'll all be treated to proof positive that there is an conference-wide conspiracy to give the South Carolina Gamecocks the most difficult schedule possible as they host the Arkansas Razorbacks. If you can't be compelled to enjoy that slobber-knocker, you're in luck as the ESPN family of networks bring you riveting Big 10 and ACC contests for the eleventybillionth time. Miami Hurricanes at Virginia Cavaliers? Northwestern Wildcats at Michigan Wolverines? Wisconsin Badgers at Indiana Hoosiers? How about all of the above! Or you could watch the genius on display as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets line up against the UNC Tarheels.

Things get a bit more interesting at 3:00 and 3:30 with the Oregon St. Beavers taking it to the Stanford Cardinal, the Penn St. Nittany Lions facing the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and the West Virginia Mountaineers attempting to outscore the Oklahoma St. Cowboys. However, I'm relatively certain most of you will be watching the Alabama Crimson Tide as they take out "Johnny Football" (ugh!) and the Texas A & M Aggies.

The night slate has National Title altering implications as the Kansas St. Wildcats match up with the TCU Horned Frogs, the Mississippi St. Bulldogs and LSU Tigers both attempt to rebound, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish inexplicably get the primetime national TV slot against the Boston College Epic Failures Eagles. These are intriguing games to be sure, but won't you join us in watching the Georgia Bulldogs dismantle the Auburn Tigers and help Gene Chizik pack his bags?

And the late night provides what are likely to be high scoring contests as the Oregon Ducks go to Northern California to face the Cal Bears and the UCLA Bruins visit a magical, mystical pirate ship as they take on the Washington St. Cougars.

That's it for this weekend's action. Enjoy! And GOOOO DAWGS!
