Your Week 12 College Football TV Schedule

There are two weeks left in the 2012 college football regular season. Won't you join us in praying for Oregon and Kansas State losses and a future Georgia win over Alabama? ...You know, so we can all watch the Dawgs beat Notre Dame's ass by 50.

This weekend continues the recent trend of being something of a mixed bag when it comes to quality matchups. Regardless, its still college football and it still beats the hell out of 95% of what gets on the air the rest of the year.

Thursday night kicks off the action (sort of?) with a high-powered contest between the UNC Tarheels and the Virginia Cavaliers. That one is sure to be a regular defensive slugfest.

The action picks back up in the noon hour on Saturday as ESPN again treats the entire country to the schadenfreude that is Big 10 and ACC football. All out brawls between the Florida St. Seminoles and the Maryland Terrapins, the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Michigan Wolverines, and the Northwestern Wildcats and the Michigan St. Spartans will surely be enough to drive everyone to their local SEC Network affiliate to watch the Arkansas Razorbacks take on the Mississippi St. Bulldogs (and that should give you some idea how pathetic that initial ESPN slate really is). Those of you lucky enough to live in the metro Atlanta viewing area will then be able to catch the Georgia Bulldogs and Georgia Southern Eagles starting at 1:30.

Things start to get interesting at 3:00 when the USC Trojans take on the UCLA Bruins and at 3:30 when the Duke Blue Devils are laughably certain to beat the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. As the Georgia game winds down, however, most of you will probably want to tune in for the battle between the Ole Miss Rebels and the LSU Tigers. Those of you who wish to die at your own hand can feel free to check out the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

This week's night games hold, perhaps, the most interesting matchups with Lil'Dooley and his Tennessee Volunteers attempting to hold off the Vanderbilt Commodores and what will now be referred to as "The Joker Treatment", the Kansas St. Wildcats trying to remain at #1 against the Baylor Bears, and the Oregon Ducks attempting to maintain their win streak against the Stanford Cardinal.

To recap, here is your weekend rooting guide:

KANSAS STATE: LOSE

OREGON: LOSE

NOTRE DAME: WIN -- only to lose in the MNC Game

ALABAMA: WIN -- only to lose to Auburn next week - Trollololol

GEORGIA: WIN -- on to Atlanta to seize our destiny!

That's it for now. Enjoy your weekend. And GOOOO DAWGS!
