Georgia Bulldogs Progressive Legends Classic Men's Basketball/South's Second-Oldest Rivalry College Football Comment Thread-a-Palooza!

Mark Fox's Georgia Bulldogs men's basketball team looks to get back on the winning track in the Progressive Legends Classic, while the North Carolina Tar Heels square off with the Virginia Cavaliers in college football. We have it all covered in tonight's open comment thread!

In case you haven't noticed (and, judging by the attendance, you haven't), it's basketball season in Athens!

At 8:00 p.m. Eastern, Mark Fox's Georgia Bulldogs will look to rebound from Monday night's embarrassing loss by taking down the Southern Miss. Golden Eagles in the Progressive Legends Classic on Fox Sports Net. In the meantime, the North Carolina Tar Heels will face the Virginia Cavaliers on ESPN at 7:30 p.m.---as in right now---in the renewal of the South's Second-Oldest Rivalry. (Sorry, gentlemen, but the Georgia Bulldogs and the Auburn Tigers hold the distinction of being the oldest. Learn to count, denizens of Chapel Hill: February 20, 1892, occurred before October 22, 1892, just as 1785 came before 1789.)

It's University of Georgia men's basketball and ACC football airing at the same time! If you can't get excited about that, well . . . all right, admittedly, there hasn't been a lot to be excited by about either of those things for a while, but, hey, tonight could be the night, right?
