The hour is almost upon us. Tonight, the Georgia Bulldogs take the field in Jordan-Hare Stadium to face the Auburn Tigers, renewing the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry in a game that could tie the all-time series standings and deliver a second straight SEC East championship to the Red and Black. There is a lot on the line, so there can be only one choice for the Dawg Sports honorary game captain.

That choice, of course, is Michael Johnson, who ten years ago capped off a 13-catch, 141-yard receiving day on the Plains by bringing in David Greene's 19-yard fourth-down touchdown pass to secure the 24-21 victory over Auburn that sent the 'Dawgs to the SEC Championship Game for the first time. It was the biggest play of the Mark Richt era, and, tonight, the Red and Black have the chance to repeat that feat and secure a return trip to Atlanta.

Cheer on the Bulldogs in the comments below, but keep it clean, and pay heed to your moderators. Hunker down, Georgia.

Go 'Dawgs! Auburna delenda est!
