General College Football Killing Time Until the Cocktail Party Kicks Off Open Comment Thread

The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party kicks off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern on Saturday. While you're waiting for the all-important game between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Florida Gators, you might as well watch whatever other college football is on TV, right?

This weekend, we get to root for them both to lose!

Look, let's not kid ourselves. We all know there's really only one college football game being played today, and we all know when, where, and which one it is. However, the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party doesn't kick off until 3:30 p.m. Eastern, and, in the meantime, all the unimportant college football won't watch itself.

According to RedCrake's handy printable college football TV schedule, the South Carolina Gamecocks will be hosting the Tennessee Volunteers on ESPN, beginning at noon, and, at the same time, ESPNU will broadcast another SEC East showdown pitting the Kentucky Wildcats against the Missouri Tigers. Over on the SEC Network at 12:21 p.m., the Arkansas Razorbacks will duke it out with the Mississippi Rebels.

It's all just an appetizer, of course, and an unsatisfying one, at that, but, hey, it's better than sitting around biting your fingernails, rocking like Leo Mazzone, and snapping at pets and small children until 3:30, right?
