College Football BlogPoll Released: Bulldogs Drop to No. 15 While Gators Rise to No. 2

According to the voters in college football's BlogPoll, the Florida Gators are rising and the Georgia Bulldogs are sinking on the eve of the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. Oh, swell.

The Gators are peaking as they head into Jacksonville. Well, isn't that just dandy?

The BlogPoll has been released, and the news is not encouraging. The Alabama Crimson Tide retain their stranglehold on the No. 1 ranking with 55 of 79 first-place votes, but the Florida Gators are gaining ground, surging into the second spot with 16 of the remaining 24 No. 1 nods. Meanwhile, the Georgia Bulldogs slipped two slots to 15th following their lackluster victory over the Kentucky Wildcats.

Also of note for those of us in Bulldog Nation are the South Carolina Gamecocks, who dropped like a rock all the way to 17th, behind the Bulldog team they beat like a bass drum.

Go 'Dawgs!
