Unless I have missed a selection while being away from the computer this weekend (which is altogether probable), the first 56 picks of the SB Nation Conference Re-Draft Project are in the books, with the 12 Pack due to choose last in the tenth round with the 60th overall draft choice.
The league presently consists of the Boston College Eagles, Clemson Tigers, Duke Blue Devils, Georgia Bulldogs, Texas Longhorns, UCLA Bruins, Virginia Cavaliers, Washington Huskies, and Wisconsin Badgers. Since the 12 Pack last picked, the Boise St. Broncos, Colorado Buffaloes, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Mississippi Rebels, N.C. State Wolfpack, Oregon St. Beavers, and Vanderbilt Commodores have come off the board, only two or (at most) three of which I consider a real loss. Among the schools left are these:
- ACC: Wake Forest Demon Deacons
- Big East: Cincinnati Bearcats, South Florida Bulls, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, and seven schools that have not heretofore played Division I-A football
- Big Ten: Indiana Hoosiers, Minnesota Golden Gophers, Purdue Boilermakers, Northwestern Wildcats
- Big 12: Baylor Bears, Iowa St. Cyclones, Kansas St. Wildcats, Texas Tech Red Raiders
- Notable Mid-Majors: Army Black Knights, Air Force Falcons, Central Florida Knights, East Carolina Pirates, Fresno St. Bulldogs, Hawaii Warriors, Houston Cougars, Memphis Tigers, Navy Midshipmen, Nevada Wolf Pack, San Diego St. Aztecs, Southern Miss. Golden Eagles
- Pac-12: Washington St. Cougars
- SEC: Mississippi St. Bulldogs
Which teams do you like for the tenth and subsequent rounds?
