I have a programming note to offer ere we get to the business at hand: by the time this comment thread opens, I will be (a) bound for Athens for an annual alumni function or (b) at home attempting to recover finally and fully from an illness that felled three members of my immediate family last Sunday and Monday, persisted to some degree throughout the week, and threw off my regular schedule by quite a bit. (Which of the two it is will be a game time decision, and, when this was written, it was not yet game time.)
The point is that I will not be around for the game thread, and my ill-informed roundball wrapup will not be instantaneous. Given my reactions in the aftermath of recent basketball games, this probably is better for all concerned, but, in the meantime, I encourage you to share your thoughts, impressions, observations, reactions, and expressions of support for the Georgia Bulldogs in the comments below.
