Tanner Strickland Is A Phish Fan And A Pretty Fair Guitar Picker.

By now you've likely already heard that offensive lineman Tanner Strickland has graduated and will be giving up his last season of football eligibility. I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Tanner because he committed to Georgia roughly two years before National Signing Day 2007 and never waivered. When fans talk about recruiting guys who "want to be Bulldogs" they're talking about Tanner Strickland.

What you may not have known is that Tanner has plenty of options available to keep himself busy while he figures out what to do with the rest of his life*. One of those options may well be chasing the neon rainbow of musical stardom, judging by this Youtube video, and others on Tanner's Youtube channel:

I'm seriously thinking that young Strickland would be an excellent choice should we decide to include live music as a part of the 2nd Annual Dawg Sports Sacrificial Goat Roast. Entertainment committee, engage! Assuming we pay him in food and drink, the preferred currency of the struggling musician, I fear we're gonna need a bigger goat.

Until later . . .

Go 'Dawgs!!!

*He could go to law school of course, but let's face it, that's really just code for "starting a sports blog".
