Another week. Another disappointment. Another set of people melting down and losing their minds. But it doesn't matter. Because as Kyle and I know, a giant hole is going to open up and swallow the greater Athens area. Obviously the D gave up more points today. But I think you'd be incorrect to say they didn't play significantly better than they did at SCAR. Once again we had a series of impressive halftime adjustments. Now if we could just work on not biting on the play action and pump fakes. Ah well. Here we go:

"Ya see guys... this is where I'm gonna punch you if you let that damn wide receiver by you again!"

In 2009, Willie Martinez's defense gave up 313 points in 12 games for an average of 26 points per game.

In 2010, Todd Grantham's defense has given up 54 points in 3 games for an average of 18 points per game.

At the current rate, Grantham's defense will have given up the same number of points as Willie Martinez's 2009 defense during the 2nd Quarter of the 7th game of the 2011 Season.

Next week we hit up the bizarro bulldogs in what I'm guessing will be a low scoring game. That low outlier should help to compensate for (what I hope is) this high outlier.
