I hate to bring all of you down off your post-Signing Day high, and at this point I don't have any confirmation, but it looks like a 20 year old black male named William Humphrey was arrested in Athens this morning a little after 2 a.m. for failure to obey a traffic signal (jaywalking) and underage possession of alcohol. Not coincidentally, there is a "Billy" Humphrey who happens to be the leading scorer on the UGA basketball team. Or at least he was before being indefinitely suspended, at least according to his athletic department bio page.
After his previous legal trouble, I'm not sure what this means for Humphrey. I do know that the last thing you should do after a home loss in which you extend your conference losing streak to 3 games is walk around town at 2 a.m. drinking. Stupid. Just. Plain. Stupid. I'll be back with more if I find out more, but it seems like a heck of a coincidence. Geez.
