It's the New Sensation That's Sweeping the Nation . . .

I was sent this by my brother-in-law and former "Dawg Show" co-host, Travis Rice, and I figured that, if it was going to stump me, it ought to stump you, too:

Let's play a quick new game I just invented. It's called pre-season, post-season, out of season.

I list the sport; then (without external reference, I'm sure you understand) you tell me into which of the three categories it falls.

Arena Football
Canadian Football
NBA
WNBA
High School softball
College softball
MLS (soccer)
NHL

I especially appreciated being thrown the bone of the parenthetical "soccer" after "MLS," as though I otherwise would have thought MLS was some terrible combination of Lou Gehrig's disease and what Josiah Bartlet suffered from in "The West Wing," for which we simply must find a cure in our lifetimes.

Have at it . . . off the top of your head, are those sports out of season, in the postseason, or in the preseason?

Is it football season yet?

Go 'Dawgs!
