David Pollack's Injury is "Not Career-Threatening"

David Pollack's neck injury in Sunday's game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns caused understandable concern throughout Bulldog Nation.

The initial reports were summarized by Paul Westerdawg, but subsequent updates on the three-time Georgia all-American are more encouraging. As E.S.P.N. reports:

Coach Marvin Lewis said Monday that Pollack has full feeling in his arms and legs and is expected to make a full recovery without surgery.

"At this point, it's not career-threatening," Lewis said. "There is no damage to the spinal cord at all."

This is good news and we should continue to keep David Pollack in our thoughts and prayers.
