Tuesday Morning Dawg Bites

The sun has risen on another Tuesday morning and I know you're still struggling to get caught up from the weekend, so here's a quick run-down on all the things you need to know:

Swindle thinks Steele unfairly compared Louisville to Phoebe Cates.  Seriously.

  • Kanu gets points for being, like, my one non-lawyer pal who never asked me how he could get out of jury duty . . . much to his chagrin.
  • Lest you think Monday was a slow news day, I regret to report that Ben Roethlisberger is in serious condition after a motorcycle accident in which he was not wearing his helmet.  Until the Super Bowl-winning quarterback's prognosis is more certain, I feel it would be inappropriate of me to editorialize on Roethlisberger's decision to engage in such conduct; for the moment, I will confine myself to hoping that he will recover from his injuries and learn from his mistake.  Be sure to stay tuned to Behind the Steel Curtain for regular updates on the quarterback's condition.
That's where matters stand.  Take it for what it's worth, finish that first cup of coffee, and get to work.

Go 'Dawgs!
