The Gym Dogs have finished the regular season undefeated and untied for the sixth time in school history.
With the win over Michigan earlier tonight, the Georgia women's gymnastics squad improved to 15-0 and justified the team's No. 1 ranking by claiming the season's eighth victory over an opponent currently ranked in the top 10. Half of those victories over top 10 teams, including Saturday's, came on the opponent's home floor.
The 197.625 score posted by the Red and Black in Ann Arbor marked the season's highest team final.
The S.E.C. gymnastics championships will commence in Birmingham on March 25.
