Saturday finally is upon us and the arrival of the weekend brings with it the opportunity for the 'Dawgs to put an end to their two-game skid, easing the pain of going 0-2 against the Volunteer State by going 2-0 against the Magnolia State.
Of course, for a Georgia squad in full rebuilding mode, nothing can be taken for granted, so a win this afternoon is far from a given. All that really is certain is that, whatever occurs in Sanford Stadium later today, the loyal denizens of Bulldog Nation will have something to say about it.

Ere I depart for Athens, I have a picture to post, but, given the results of the last two Saturdays, I no longer have faith that a photograph of Mary-Louise Parker brings good luck to the Classic City Canines, so I have decided to go another way.
I thought the best option was to go with the exact opposite of today's opponent and, since Georgia will be taking on the 'Dogs, I was, of course, led directly to Brooke Burke:
Go 'Dawgs! Beat the . . . um . . . 'Dogs!
