We know a football field would fit in the historic Yankee Stadium, because several football games were played there. (The Bulldogs have played there, in fact.)
Nevertheless, there may not be room for a regulation gridiron in the home of college football's latest bowl game. Rather than get worked up over this and risk being portrayed as a conspiracy theorist rolling ball bearings around while yammering on about strawberries and yellow dye markers, though, I will simply adopt the fallback position my innate Southernness demands:
Anything called the "Yankee Bowl" is, by definition, the national bowl of disinterest. You may consider this brouhaha in an apparently undersized ballpark officially ignored.
