It has been a busy week for the Georgia Bulldogs, as several Red and Black athletes have been preparing for the Olympics, two former Bulldog standouts have been hired as assistant coaches in Athens, and the school's oldest living tennis letterman passed away.

Isaiah Crowell's arrest and dismissal were not the only items of news concerning the Georgia Bulldogs this week. Among the many positive items to report was Allison Schmitt's success at the U.S. Olympic swimming trials.

In a busy weekend for the Red and Black, the Georgia Bulldogs track and field, women's golf, and women's softball teams all stumbled down the stretch to disappointing finishes following promising starts in postseason SEC and NCAA competitions.
