Tony Kornheiser, on Pardon the Interruption just now (11/9/2010), referring to Jerry Jones as owner of the Cowboys, and saying why he should NOT be fired as general manager. I think this was a veiled insult at Wayne Weaver. Know any other NFL owners who were into shoes?

Hosts Tony Kornheiser and Mike Wilbon put to rest any suspicion about the saliva scandal with a nationally-broadcast replay of yesterday's video in HI-DEF that clearly reveals saliva passing the ball the pitcher was holding and sailing downward past his hand toward earth. Wilbon inferred, however, that baseball has no moral high ground to play "innocent until proven guilty" when it comes to players seeking an edge on the field (aka "cheating").
