The SEC claimed national championships in several sports, including basketball and football, in the 2011-'12 academic year, yet the Georgia Bulldogs won exactly none of them. What needs to happen in order for that to change?

Wildcats Finish 25th at NCAA Championship

The Kansas State women’s cross country team completed its season Monday when the Wildcats finished 25th overall at the NCAA Championship in Terre Haute, Ind. Sophomore Martina Tresch led the Wildcats, finishing 52nd with a time of 21:09. Senior Sydney Messick ended her cross country career by crossing the finish line 57th overall with a time of 21:12.

K-State Earns At-Large Bid for NCAA Championship

The Kansas State women’s cross country team received an at-large bid to run at the NCAA Championship for its first team appearance since 2000. The race will be held Nov. 22 in Terre Haute, Ind., where the Wildcats participated in the Pre-National Invitational earlier this season.
