Lu Harris-Champer's Georgia women's softball team won its 40th victory of the season, a former Bulldog golfer won the Stadion Classic for the second straight year, and several Red and Black squads are bound for SEC and NCAA tourney fields.
It was a busy weekend in Bulldog Nation, with events of interest to Georgia Bulldogs fans occurring in track and field, women's softball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's golf, women's gymnastics, and, of course, the NFL Draft.
Earlier this year, the Georgia Bulldogs' Russell Henley became just the second amateur golfer ever to win a Nationwide Tour event. This weekend, he was joined in that exclusive fraternity by former teammate Harris English.
