While I question the wisdom of letting high-profile college athletes use Twitter, I like the coach's approach to rewarding achievement. Mark Fox, by the way, is one of the reasons Twitter was invented. Go 'Dawgs!

Georgia could benefit from NCAA investigations into Boise State football and Central Florida basketball. Go 'Dawgs!

The Georgia men's basketball team went from playing before an average of 6,834 fans per game at home last season to playing before an average of 8,250 fans per game in Stegeman Coliseum this season. That improvement ranks ninth in the country, making the Red and Black the only SEC school to make the top 20. Just think what the Fox Hounds' home court advantage could be if all the season ticket holders showed up on time! Go 'Dawgs!

Three immediate reactions: 1. I don't think Tennessee had any other choice. 2. Whoa! 3. This opens the door for Mark Fox to have a monster recruiting year. With two of our nearest rivals searching for coaches, he ought to have a golden opportunity to coax some Atlanta talent to Athens. Go 'Dawgs!

Yeah, there's today's win and all, but he's also not coaching Nevada and waiting on a tsunami to hit. Seriously, pray for the safety of all concerned. These are tumultuous times in more than merely the financial and political sense. Go 'Dawgs!
