On Sunday afternoon, the Georgia Bulldogs experienced the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, as the Gym Dogs dispatched N.C. State in women's gymnastics but the Diamond Dogs were swept by UCLA in baseball.

A difficult day for fans of the Georgia Bulldogs was made worse on Friday evening, when the Gym Dogs went on the road and lost a women's gymnastics meet to the lower-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks by a 195.775-195.4 final margin.
