Despite being competitive with the top teams in the country throughout the season, the Georgia Bulldogs women's club lacrosse team failed to make the 16-team 2012 Division I WCLA national championship tournament field.

The Georgia men's and women's lacrosse teams wound up on opposite ends of identical 9-7 scores on Friday night, with the men beating South Carolina in the Southern Shootout and the Lady Bulldogs falling to Pittsburgh in Santa Barbara.
