The Diamond Dogs welcomed the Furman Paladins to Foley Field on Tuesday night, but the Georgia Bulldogs' non-conference college baseball game ended in a 5-4 setback thanks to a one-inning Michael Palazzone meltdown.

On a busy Saturday for the Bulldogs, the Georgia baseball, women's gymnastics, and women's lacrosse teams all carded impressive intercollegiate victories over Presbyterian, Kentucky, and UCLA and Michigan, respectively.
