Eight current SEC teams made the NCAA postseason field, as did incoming league members Missouri and Texas A&M, along with annual Georgia rivals Clemson and Georgia Tech. The SEC has gone 14-2 in the tournament so far, while the Diamond Dogs are sitting at home. Is this acceptable? Go 'Dawgs!

Due to inclement weather in the Athens area, the opening game of the Diamond Dogs' three-game SEC set with the red-hot Wildcats has been postponed. There will be a doubleheader tomorrow. This means I'm suddenly free for the evening, so I should go to bed early, but I think we both know I'll probably just putter around on the internet until 1:00 a.m. Eastern and feel terrible in the morning. What is it with the Bulldogs always welcoming new teams to the SEC on the road? Next year, the Georgia men's tennis team opens the conference schedule by hosting Tennessee, too. (Hat tip: Team Speed Kills.) Go 'Dawgs!
