Kuechly Named Semifinalist For Lott Trophy

Boston College's Luke Kuechly was named one of eight semifinalists for the 2011 Lott Trophy today. Kuechly joins Don'ta Hightower and Manti Te'o as the only players in the country to be named a Lott Trophy, Rotary Lombardi, Chuck Bednarik Award and Butkus Award semifinalist.

Luke Kuechly Named Semifinalist For 2011 Chuck Bednarik Award

On Monday, Kuechly was named one of sixteen semifinalists for the 2011 Chuck Bednarik Award, awarded to the nation's most outstanding defensive player by the Maxwell Football Club. Kuechly was a finalist for the Bednarik last season, but the award went to LSU's Patrick Petersen.
