Chris Low thinks OKST can "score with the Bears"

Of course, he starts with all the "Baylor's never won in Stillwater" things that have no bearing on this season.

ESPN's Chris Low ranks MSU football facilities 9th

+

Chris Low, ESPN's lead SEC blogger, today compiled a ranking of the SEC football facilities. MSU came in 9th out of 14 (list includes new members aTm and Mizzou), but Chris appears to have not updated his info on the new football facility: "The Bulldogs are breaking ground on a new $25 million football complex sometime this year..." Try LAST year, Christopher. Do you agree with this ranking? At first I thought we were ranked low, but there are some really good facilities ahead of us.

"We saw a better, more explosive offense with Mackey in the game, but expecting a duplicate performance this week would be like expecting the cast of Jersey Shore to be invited back to Italy after what we’ve seen in Season 4." -Chris Low That's some quality writing, Chris!

Chris Low Predicts Georgia Will End Up in Liberty Bowl

13

I am torn on this one. On the one hand, a New Year's Eve bowl would be a gift; on the other hand, I don't want to play a team from Conference USA. The Music City Bowl is the earliest SEC bowl game (December 30), but it offers an opportunity to renew the rivalry with Clemson. The Compass Bowl is the weakest SEC tie-in, but it also takes place on January 8. While I am not crazy about any of these options, each has advantages that might make it the dog with the fewest fleas. Go 'Dawgs!

Chris Low Has Georgia in Something Called the Compass Bowl

I'm going to have to look that one up, because it's a new one on me; I don't even know where it's played, or what the corporate sponsor makes. Here's the kicker, though: it's a January 8 bowl game, making it the third-latest bowl game (behind only the Fight Hunger Bowl and, of course, the BCS National Championship Game). I'm still holding out hope for a Music City Bowl matchup with Clemson, but, failing that, I have to say that a January bowl game (with the accompanying practice time stretching into the new year) has a lot of appeal. Of course, first the Bulldogs have to get bowl eligible. First things first. Go 'Dawgs!

Could the Georgia Bulldogs and the Clemson Tigers Renew College Football Hostilities in the 2010 Music City Bowl?

It has been a disappointing college football season for the Georgia Bulldogs, but Dawg Sports may have located a silver lining: it is possible that the Red and Black may meet the rival Clemson...

A Quick Look at Georgia Football in 2010

A quick look at Georgia football for 2010, and why pessimism isn't warranted.

The fact that Richt would come and get Belin is just another indication of the kind of staff Johnson has assembled at Vanderbilt. Florida wooed Kenny Carter away a couple of years ago, and Carter is now with Charlie Strong at Louisville. Bowling Green's Dave Clawson tried to hire Vanderbilt secondary coach Jamie Bryant as his defensive coordinator last year. Oklahoma State came after Vanderbilt defensive coordinator Bruce Fowler, and South Carolina has made a couple of different runs at Vanderbilt assistant head coach and offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell.

As for a few final thoughts on the the Alabama football team, I'll start with the young talent in the program. It's staggering. Guys like Dont'a Hightower, Marcell Dareus, Courtney Upshaw, Mark Barron, Brandon Gibson and Jerrell Harris -- all sophomores -- are poised to take big steps this season. Hightower was a full-time starter last season. Of course, that's not even counting Julio Jones and Mark Ingram from the sophomore class. And in this freshman class, Alabama fans are going to love defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick. He's a blur coming out of his breaks and has that swagger about him all the great defensive backs possess.

ESPN's Chris Low bids sayonara to Tuscaloosa and provides a final pre-season take on the 2009 Crimson Tide.
