Dr. Saturday and I Are on the Same Page

I always find that encouraging, except whenever he goes off on one of his playoff tirades. Go 'Dawgs!

Final 2011 BlogPoll Rankings Released

Alabama won the BlogPoll national championship, despite the fact that five voters (including me) ranked the Tide third. Georgia ended up ranked 19th after a ten-win division championship season in which the Bulldogs lost to No. 2 LSU, No. 7 Boise State, No. 8 South Carolina, and No. 10 Michigan State. The Red and Black had the second-highest degree of deviation in the poll, thanks partly to my ballot: I won the Straight Bangin' Award and finished second in the running for Mr. Bold. Go 'Dawgs!

BlogPoll Says Clean Old-Fashioned Hate Pits No. 12 v. No. 24

That should make it interesting, shouldn't it? Go 'Dawgs!

2010 Postseason BlogPoll Has Been Released

Auburn pulls down 42 of 48 first-place votes and is your BlogPoll national champion. Also appearing in the top 25 are No. 7 LSU, No. 10 Alabama, No. 12 Arkansas, No. 16 Mississippi State, and No. 22 South Carolina. The Central Florida Knights, who beat the Bulldogs in the Liberty Bowl, check in at No. 21. The Boise State Broncos, who open against the Bulldogs in the Georgia Dome next fall, ended up ranked eighth. For the record, my ballot finished third in the running for "Mr. Bold." Go 'Dawgs!

Not That Anyone Cares, But the Final BlogPoll is Out

Alabama is a near-unanimous No. 1 and I was the runner-up for Mr. Bold. Move along . . . nothing to see here . . . get back to tracking those airplanes and following David Hale's Twitter feed! Go 'Dawgs!

New BlogPoll Released

I won Mr. Manic-Depressive, which isn't surprising, considering that I was lazy with last week's ballot and methodical with this week's. In other news, Georgia deservedly plummeted to ninth in the SEC Power Poll. Go 'Dawgs!

New BlogPoll released

Alabama receives 46 first-place votes to hang onto the No. 1 ranking, with No. 2 Florida and No. 3 Texas topping 24 and 17 ballots, respectively. I was one of two BlogPollsters who placed Iowa at No. 1, and my explanation was quoted. It appears that Matt "Dr. Saturday" Hinton was the other Hawkeye voter, so at least I'm in good company. Go 'Dawgs!
