Tebow/Focus Super Bowl ad: least-watched

I had no idea that the Nielsen Company was this detailed. They actually provide individual ratings for the TV commercials shown during the Super Bowl. The most-watched commercial was the Doritos...

Watch the bizarre Tim Tebow Super Bowl ad

What were they thinking? The Focus on the Family ad that aired during the Super Bowl aimed at fighting abortion instead promoted domestic violence with Tim Tebow tackling his mother. When it...

UT Longhorn Legends Walk a disaster of life-size proportions

So apparently the University of Texas Co-op decided to put up some statues "honoring" Longhorn heroes of eras past. They made the mistake of hiring a firm from the Philippines that specialized in "life size" fiberglass statuary. Read Longhorns' reactions here (I've never seen the word "abortion" used so prolifically in a forum thread, yet I can't help but agree while laughing uncontrollably).

Are the Baylor Bears a Dealbreaker for the Pac-10's Expansion Plans?

The possibility of Pac-10 expansion may have hit a hiccup when the Texas legislature began pushing for the Baylor Bears to replace the Colorado Buffaloes in the proposed Pac-16. Dawg Sports explains why the Baptist university could be a dealbreaker.

Act Like Your Mama Raised You Right: Bacarri Rambo, Da'Rick Rogers, Facebook, Twitter, and the Loss of Sportsmanship

The recent exchange between the Georgia Bulldogs' Bacarri Rambo and the Tennessee Volunteers' Da'Rick Rogers on Facebook and Twitter illustrates the ways in which we are allowing the internet to make us less sportsmanlike and less civil. Dawg Sports says it is time for this downward trend to stop.

I'm pro-choice, and Tebow clearly is not. But based on what I've heard in the past week, I'll take his side against the group-think, elitism and condescension of the "National Organization of Fewer and Fewer Women All The Time." For one thing, Tebow seems smarter than they do. Tebow's 30-second ad hasn't even run yet, but it already has provoked "The National Organization for Women Who Only Think Like Us" to reveal something important about themselves: They aren't actually "pro-choice" so much as they are pro-abortion. Pam Tebow has a genuine pro-choice story to tell. She got pregnant in 1987, post-Roe v. Wade, and while on a Christian mission in the Philippines, she contracted a tropical ailment. Doctors advised her the pregnancy could be dangerous, but she exercised her freedom of choice and now, 20-some years later, the outcome of that choice is her beauteous Heisman Trophy winner son, a chaste, proselytizing evangelical. Pam Tebow and her son feel good enough about that choice to want to tell people about it. Only, NOW says they shouldn't be allowed to.

In Defense of Tim Tebow's Decision to Appear in the Super Bowl Ad
