The Georgia Bulldogs' Jasmine James scored on a tip-in and a free throw in the final seconds of the Lady Bulldogs' NCAA women's basketball tournament game on Tuesday night to send the Red and Black to the Sweet 16 after a 61-59 victory over the Florida State Seminoles.
Fans of the Georgia Bulldogs were disappointed on a busy Sunday, as the baseball and softball teams both lost SEC clashes on the road. Andy Landers's Lady Bulldogs, however, advanced to the second round of the NCAA women's basketball tournament.
The Georgia Bulldogs are bound for the NCAA basketball tournament . . . twice. Mark Fox's men's team is headed to Charlotte, while Andy Landers's women's team is bound for Auburn and a date with Middle Tennessee State.
