Superstitions/Beards
I know the topic was covered a while back, but with Kyle's continued proud display of the beard, I thought we should revisit it for a moment.
I used to be overly superstitious (same clothes from game to game - down to boxers and socks - washed of course; same glass to drink the Crown and Coke on gamedays, etc.) but I decided before the UF game this year that it didn't matter. The only thing that mattered was the Dawgs deciding they wanted to win, not my superstitions. And my new found faith was rewarded.
But old habits die hard and the playoff beard has surfaced (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Playoff_beard). My last shave was the day of the Sugar Bowl. I figure that was the start of the 2008 season for the Dawgs and I don't intend to shave until after UGA wins the 2008 MNC or is eliminated from contention. I think as a show of solidarity, we should all start growing beards (wives and girlfriends be damned...) Not that crazy superstitions like getting stabbed with a knife help the Dawgs win or anything, but still.

It was a screwdriver . . .
Be honest, Bulldog Nation; if you saw Mark Richt embrace the "Evil Richt" identity by growing a goatee over the offseason, wouldn't you go ahead and start talking national championship smack now?

I don't know about the goatee . . .
I've also taken to standing in front of my fireplace with a shotgun in one hand and a highball of scotch in the other, Ernest Hemingway-style. But that couldn't possibly be related.
