A Date Worth Remembering

On a purely personal note, I would like to point out that today is the 11th anniversary of the day I proposed to my wife, Susan.

For the record, I asked her to marry me at a karaoke party in Athens after I had sung Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love."

June 30th is 20 years for me -- or as Mrs. BWCIFTC would say "A day which shall live in infamy"

I proposed in Athens - next to the Arch - after dinner at Sons of Italy...

Anybody know if Sons of Italy is still there?... I was planning on - as my father in law would say - "returning to the scene of the crime" for a 20 years celebration.

I hate to be the barer of bad news but Son's closed early last fall from their Lumpkin Street location and is opening up at the end of Milledge near the loop. They still have not opened this store and the restaurant that is taking Son's place still has yet to open.
