The one good thing about it . . .

. . . is that it demonstrates the difference between Georgia and Georgia Tech.

When a Bulldog is academically ineligible, we don't let him play; when multiple Yellow Jackets in several sports over a period of years are academically ineligible, um, well, somebody in the registrar's office just happens to misplace the paperwork for the better part of a decade.

I guess now we know why Bill Curry didn't get hired to replace Dave Braine as Georgia Tech's athletic director; the folks at The Flats were afraid that Coach Curry would make good on his infamous promise to "bring the cheaters to their knees" . . . which would have obligated him to take a stand against his alma mater, not mine.
