New Blog: Once A Metro covering Red Bull New York!

Think of me as the Mike Bobo to Kyle's Mark Richt . . .

Hello, folks. {taps microphone} Is this thing on? First,I'd like to thank Kyle for his kind introduction. I'll be posting here on a regular basis, concentrating on basketball and recruiting. By recruiting, I of course mean football recruiting, because I have yet to find any sites that cover equestrian recruiting. But I digress. One of the reasons I'm doing this is that Kyle has generously agreed to give me a roving commission to talk about all sorts of Bulldawg related items. I've linked copiously to Dawg Sports in the past, and have come to admire Kyle's gravitas among sportsbloggers and Dawg fans like myself. When he contacted me, the move to Dawg Sports was really a no-brainer. Suffice it to say I'm psyched about joining the team here at Dawg Sports, and I hope you regular readers will feel free to pepper me with the type of hard-hitting give-and-take you dish out to Kyle, because that is a key component of this site. As those of you who've read my site (yes, I'm talking to both of you) know, I'm not nearly as studious as Kyle. I make fun of Urban Meyer. I watch more recruiting video than is probably healthy. And I've been known to take the game of football a little too seriously. That's pretty much my schtick, and none of that will change. Thanks Kyle, for having me aboard. I'll be back tomorrow with something more meaty. Go Dawgs!

A tip of the hat to each of you
I barely find time to read as much as I do.  The subject (UGA sports) is, of course, fascinating, but how y'all manage to make the time to write about it with such insight and wit is remarkable.  And I just remarked, so my point is proven.

Thanks for providing so much information and, simultaneously, a forum in which to comment.

Welcome
Hey, MaconDawg. Great to see you over here. If Kyle thinks you can improve this already-excellent site, then, well, I'm looking forward to it.

welcome
I think you'll make a great team, and your contributions will round out this blog in a very nice way.

And I promise to play nice unless Kyle convinces you that a bowl system should be adopted for college basketball.

Bowl system for college basketball.
34hawk, He hasn't yet tried to convince me of the advisablity of such a scheme. I'm pretty open minded, but that would be a hard sell for me. Not that I'm extending a challenge to the Mayor or anything . . .
