Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

Auburn's bloggers seem a bit testy...

Did anyone experience or witness the actions that many of the Auburn blogs are accusing Georgia fans with?  I've read everything from, "They make LSU fans look like boyscouts...", to "It was the worst experience I've ever endured at a football game..."

Were Georgia fans being normally obnoxious (God bless us) or extra obnoxious (that's the spirit!)?  Are the Auburnites merely venting because they are realizing that they not only have a crappy school, but they have a crappy school in the state of Alabama?  Perhaps the realization that their ownership of the Dawgs in Athens has been, let's say, repo'd.

I'm just curious.  I would have given just about anything to have been a part of that on Saturday!

auburn fans
the only comments i made all game to any auburn fans were to a family two rows in front of me and all i commented on was the questionable officiating and despite my limited knowledge of auburn football history i was able to make the decision that brandon cox is the worst quarterback to ever wear an auburn jersey.

Agree
Much of what I've read has been fueled by very thinly veiled racism.  Take this diary from the Auburn blog run by the same umbrella as this one's.

Congratulations! Your school, team, and coaching staff have acted as classless as possible this year. The game Saturday night was just another example. Georgia's theatrics Saturday night were absolutely deplorable. They looked like a BUNCH OF CIRCUS MONKEYS out there. It takes late hits, blackouts, and total lack of character to win. Congrats Mark Richt. I used to respect you. Now, I have nothing but contempt for you and your fans....But, don't celebrate too long Georgia fans! You beat Alabama, Auburn, and Florida in the same season and STILL won't make it to the SEC! Congrats on absolutely nothing! We still own you....

The CAPS are the author's.  I've seen many similar types of things on the Auburn message boards.  Blutarsky has a nice post concerning the uproar over Soulja boy (who's lyrics we did not play).  In that post he posts the lyrics to Welcome to the Jungle, which is/was played with the lyrics at Auburn games.

Florida folks are flipping out over 'FSU north' as well.  If those folks can't see the difference between a team having a good time and a team rubbing it in, then that's their loss.

God forbid...
our team actually has fun!!!! Gasp!

Speaking of fun, when UGA wins its a great time for all but I have never been to a game where i was more entertained and had more fun than any other than this one.  Just an electric atmosphere all around and I just hope and pray we can hold up our end of the bargain as fans for a win against UK this weekend on senior day.

To tell you the truth...
...it is not so much their bloggers, rather it seems to be just one of Track'em Tigers' readers, ArieGold.  I get the feeling from reading his other stuff on the website that he typically writes outlandish articles that most of the other readers respond to negatively, and then, instead of writing intelligent rebuttals to these disagreements, he relies on insults and demeaning language to get his point across.

So basically he is that little kid shopping with his mom at a supermarket, crying about how he wants the new Malibu Barbie and then, when denied, screams that he wishes she were dead and that he is runniung away (saw that little number in the Athens Westside Walmart the other day, man that mom was eying that monkey wrench).

I think the fact that only a small portion of the posts on his diary were Auburn fans (many of them repeats), I think that he is probably the minority on this one.
