If I had a vote, I'd vote the Vols first and the Noles second. No one else played and beat opponents of such a high quality.

My BlogPoll ballot is partly reflective . . .
If we were going strictly by performance, Division I-AA Montana State (which beat defending division champion Colorado) would be ranked and Miami (which is 0-1) would not.
However, as I indicated earlier, I agree with Rece Davis that, for the month of September, a voter's ballot should be "a fluid situation," subject to substantial revision as offseason theories give way to fall facts . . . and persuasive arguments.
