Lunch Hour Dawg Bites

Here it is, lunchtime already and the week is flying by, so there's no time to waste. While you scarf down something you know full well is no good for you, take a minute to get caught up on what's taking place in the blogosphere. Here's what you need to know:

• Having stuck a fork in the 2005 campaign, I have turned my attention to 2006 at long last, offering an overview of my expectations for the fall and providing a preview of Western Kentucky.
• Today's edition of "Dawg bites" might as well be called "Paul Westerdawg bites," as The Dawgosphere's heaviest hitter is rendering yeoman's service by forecasting forthcoming coaching changes, offering much-deserved odes to college football and the Dawg Bone, identifying the Georgia Fan of the Week, and stating his preference for the New International Version.

I'm a King James man, myself.  Word.  No, literally, Word.

• There are recent developments beyond the boundaries of Bulldog Nation, as well. Orson is back from vacation, Brian has animadverted hilariously upon Lou Holtz, Sunday Morning Quarterback has tackled Texas, and Johnny has brought closure to the Sugar Bowl.
• Finally, The Dawgosphere continues to flourish, as two new Bulldog bloggers have joined the burgeoning ranks. Please join me in welcoming MaconDawg's Blawg (by a fellow Drive-By Truckers fan in the legal profession) and Football and Opinions (by an author with a very interesting backstory).

For the Georgia T-shirt Bible verse, I might have gone with Job 1:10 or maybe something from the Gospel of Mark.
