Recap: Oregon vs. U-C-L-A

Eugene, OR (Sports Network) - Jeremiah Masoli ran for 170 yards and a touchdown while also passing for a score to lead the Oregon Ducks to a 31-24 triumph over Pac-10 foe UCLA in Eugene.

LeGarrette Blount finished with 111 rushing yards and two touchdowns for Oregon (5-2, 3-1 Pac-10).

Kevin Craft threw for 288 yards and one touchdown in defeat for UCLA (2-4, 1-2).

Oregon led 14-0 at intermission thanks to five-yard touchdown run by Masoli in the first quarter and a 24-yard touchdown pass from Masoli to Chris Harper in the second stanza.

UCLA cut its deficit to 14-7 midway through the third quarter with a one-yard touchdown run by Derrick Coleman.

Oregon answered back with a touchdown of its own less than two minutes later, as Blount increased the Ducks' advantage to 21-7 with a six-yard scoring scamper.

With only 27 seconds remaining in the third quarter, UCLA made the score 21-14 on a two-yard touchdown run by Khalil Bell.

Oregon's Matt Evensen gave his team a 24-14 edge with just over 11 minutes left in the contest, as he nailed a 32-yard field goal.

With only 2:46 left on the game clock, UCLA cut its deficit to 24-17 on a 28- yard field goal by Kai Forbath.

On the first play of the ensuing possession, Blount exploded for a 69-yard touchdown run that gave the Ducks a 31-17 advantage.

UCLA was able to score one final touchdown with 55 seconds left, as Craft tossed a one-yard scoring pass to Jeff Miller, but that play didn't change the outcome.

Oregon finished with only 42 passing yards, but the Ducks rushed for 323 yards and didn't commit a single turnover.
