DAWG WAS RIGHT WHEN HE SAID WE LOST TO USC AT THERE HOUSE. HE FORGOT TO MENTION WE SCORED MORE POINTS ON THEM THAN ANY ONE ELSE THAT YEAR. HE ALSO DID'NT MENTION THAT WHEN ALABAMA COME TO OUR HOUSE WE SPANKED THEM!!!. MICHAGAN STATE DID BEAT US IN THE COLD BUT THEN THE NEXT YEAR THEY PAID US $250,000 NOT TO COME AND PLAY IN HAWAII (the chicken shits) DON'T TAKE US FOR GRANTED OR YOUR ASS IS OURS

I don't take the Warriors for granted . . .

. . . as I came right out and said in so many words.

Likewise, I didn't miss a few; I gave Hawaii's record against B.C.S. conference competition under June Jones, which includes the games you mention.

However, I believed it was worth noting that all of Hawaii's victories over B.C.S. conference competition came in Honolulu. The Warriors, like their conference colleagues the Boise State Broncos, have done extremely well against all opponents on their home field, but they have fared less well away from their own stadium. Maybe this will be Hawaii's version of the Fiesta Bowl; we shall see.

I take Hawaii seriously and I look forward to a good game. In the future, you may feel free to release the caps lock key, as we here at Dawg Sports will be able to read you just as well if you observe normal typographical conventions.

POLYNESIAN PASSION WILL NOT ALLOW HAWAIIANS TO TYPE WITHOUT ALL CAPS, SIR. (unless it's in parentheticals.) HAWAIIANS ALSO HAVE SPELLING STYLES AND APOSTROPHE USAGE IN CONTRACTIONS THAT IS UNIQUE TO THE ISLANDS. BEST RESPECT IT.

Ok, ok...

I've been launching some grouchy posts here and elsewhere because my back's been killing me since the week between Auburn and Kentucky, and I'm getting over a cold.

But this post made me laugh. I have to hand it to you, MightyMightyMitzu. The first post was kind of abrupt, but this "parentheticals" comment helped set a more appropriate tone. You're all right.

My, aren't we a wee bit aggressive...

Passion is one thing, but getting all high-and-mighty about beating a pretty mediocre Alabama team in the Hula Bowl (after some serious jet-lag, I'm sure) is really nothing to CAP LOCK about. And thanks for the warning. No one is going to take Hawaii for granted in the sUGAr Bowl. That seems to be the catch phrase for many of the Warrior faithful, doesn't it?
